Challenge: The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Connecticut & Western Massachusetts offers a comforting, home-like haven for families whose children are undergoing medical treatment at nearby hospitals. To connect with potential donors and volunteers, RMHC sought a compelling, story-driven video campaign. This campaign aimed to authentically showcase the heartfelt experiences of families residing at the House, vividly bringing their journeys and the impact of RMHC's support to the forefront.


The Approach: Our approach centered on creating authentic, documentary-style films and concise social media videos to capture the essence of RMHC's mission. We meticulously crafted over 30 unique videos, each tailored to resonate with our audience. This collection included the following.


>> Individual House & Chapter Videos: We crafted 2-3 minute flagship videos for each of the two houses (New Haven, CT & Springfield, MA) that were specific to the needs of families staying in each house. We also created a combined 3 minute chapter video that integrated the mission of both houses together into a cohesive film.

>> Family Interview Spotlights: Deeply personal and touching, these interviews offered a window into the lives of families staying at RMHC, highlighting their stories of resilience and hope.

>> Volunteer Impact Stories: To showcase the invaluable contributions of RMHC volunteers, we produced videos that spotlighted their dedication and the significant difference they make in the lives of the families.

>> Social Media Videos: Recognizing the power of social media in storytelling, we focused on producing videos that were not only informative but also emotionally engaging. These social media videos served as powerful tools in both enlightening the audience and igniting their passion to support RMHC's cause.

>> FAQ Videos: Understanding the importance of clear communication, we developed a series of FAQ videos. These were designed to effectively answer common questions, providing straightforward information about RMHC's services and how the community can get involved.
