The Challenge: Black Lapel came to us with the unique challenge of developing a short story to demonstrate the key features of their all new Traveler Suit. They wanted to highlight it's comfort, design & durability. In order to show all of those features and keep the audience engaged, our creative team came up with a powerful storyline where the main character had to do the impossible (from getting in a car chase to jumping from a helicopter) in order to make it to his daughter's birthday on time.
One of the main challenges we faced was the budget. In order to complete the project on budget, we needed to take what was originally a 3 day shoot and turn it into a one day shoot. Thanks to our experienced production team, we were able to finish shooting everything within a 13 hour shoot day. Not to mention the actual suit held up excellently all day long!
The Result: We worked closely alongside the VP of digital strategy at Black Lapel in order to ensure this campaign hit all of its performance objectives. The main goal of this campaign was to generate more add to carts for the Traveler Suit from people seeing this video for the first time on Facebook or Instagram. This video has continued to be Black Lapel's flagship ad as it has been more successful at getting people to add the product to their cart online & actually buy it right after watching than any other ad they have ran.
