A Branded Short Film Focused on Men's Mental Health
"We were absolutely blown away after seeing Luke's film for the first time. The Movember community was deeply inspired by Luke’s story. The comparison of the iceberg to the struggle of men’s mental health was incredibly thoughtful, not only providing a powerful image to help convey the weight of that struggle to help others relate to, but a validation to those who experience it. The radical extreme of the challenge and the epic storytelling helped to bring much awareness and attention to such an important cause.

The Stunt: Freedive to the bottom of an iceberg with no oxygen and no wetsuit in 28° F (-2° C water)
The Why: We want to bring the rarely talked about cause of men's mental health to the surface through a daring example of visual symbolism.
Swimming underneath glaciers represents facing the invisible battles we hide below the surface.

The Approach:
Creative Director, Luke Adams, had a personal connection to this project and aspired to do the stunt himself. In order to make that feat possible, he spent 5 months learning how to freedive & handle cold water from Canadian record holder, Luca Malaguti.
The Crew: We had a truly world class film crew consisting of interdisciplinary experts in diving, underwater filmmaking, ice climbing & glaciology.
